Banking Information This section explains the different ways in which you can deposit and withdraw funds from your TMFlemingspreads trading account. The following topics are covered below : Depositing Funds
Withdrawing Funds
Important informationPlease note that TMFlemingspreads cannot and will not accept ANY payments received from Third Parties. All payments to a TMFlemingspreads trading account must be received from an account held in the name of the account holder. This is an FSA regulation that TMFlemingspreads must comply with at all times. Should any Third Party payments be received they will be rejected and returned to the issuing account. TMFlemingspreads will not under any circumstances accept CASH payments. Depositing funds Funds can be deposited to trading accounts in various different ways. The easiest and quickest way to deposit funds into your Trading Account is by using a debit or credit card. Card DepositsBefore you can deposit funds with a card for the first time, you are required to register the card with our Client Services by calling them on 020 7398 5275. Each new card needs to be registered in this way. Below is a list of cards which TMFlemingspreads will currently accept. Once your card has been registered by Client Services the details are saved to your personal Account. You will then be able to use our online deposit function to credit funds to your TMFlemingspreads Trading Account. This function can only be accessed once you are logged into our Trading platform. To access the payment screen click on the Banking link at the top of the screen:
This will prompt a new screen which will show your card details as seen in the example below.
Select the card you wish to use and press.
You will then be asked to enter the security code (CVV) on the back of the card (these are the last 3 digits across the signature strip) and the amount that you wish to deposit. Once these details are entered you will be asked to confirm that the details are correct. Finally you will pass through SecureCard to authenticate your card. SecureCard is a system which issuing banks provide to ensure the card being used is linked to you. Should you forget the password for this function you will need to contact your issuing bank as TMFlemingspreads cannot access this information. Successful payments will appear on your account immediately. We suggest that you check your Transaction History or Account Balance directly after processing a payment. Your transaction will also appear on your weekly statement. *Please note you will be subject to a 2% surcharge for Credit Cards. Your card provider may treat these deposits as a cash advance. Therefore, you could be subject to charges/ daily cash advance limits. Please refer to your card provider for further information. There is NO charge for Debit Cards. Bank TransfersTo transfer funds via a bank transfer you will need to instruct your bank to make the transfer. Below are the details you will need to send funds. Please ensure that you transfer funds to the correct currency account otherwise you may be charged for any currency conversions. Bank transfers can take up to 3 days to be received at our bank. If you wish to speed this up you can ask your bank to send the funds via CHAPS, which is a guaranteed same day payment and should reach your account no later than 6pm that day. Your bank may charge for this service. When transferring funds to our bank please ensure you clearly state your full name and your Account Number in your Payment Reference. Please also contact us as soon as possible via email to supply a copy of your bank receipt. Your account will be credited when the funds reach our bank account.
Cheque DepositsIf you wish to deposit funds by cheque then please make it payable to ‘WorldSpreads Ltd’, put your name and TMFlemingspreads account number on the reverse and send it to:
TMFlemingspreads is a Trading Name of Worldspreads Limited Cheques must be drawn in sterling on a UK branch of a UK clearing bank from an Account in your name. Cheques drawn in any currencies other than GBP or from a non-UK bank or a non-UK branch of a UK bank cannot be accepted. Your account will normally be credited 7 days after receipt of your cheque to allow for clearance. In view of the clearance delay we would not recommend this as a regular method of funding your account. Withdrawing Funds To arrange a withdrawal of funds, please contact the Client Services team on 020 7398 5275 or by emailing enquiries@tmflemingspreads.com. In order to help protect our clients against fraud, TMFlemingspreads will only return funds by the same method by which they were received. Withdrawals to CardsPayments received by card will be returned to the original card from which the deposits were received. Please be advised that Card refunds take 3-5* working days to reach the bank account to which they are linked. *Please note that on rare occasions card refunds can sometimes take up to 30 days to clear, this is very unusual but TMFlemingspreads likes to keep their clients informed of that possibility. The reason for the unusually long delay is due to stringent bank security on large payments. We would suggest that clients break down larger refunds into smaller amounts to try and avoid the delay in refunding money. Should your card be out of date you will be asked to provide more information. If the card is a renewal from the old one the 16 digit card number should remain the same so a refund will still be able to be processed once you have advised us of the new expiry date. If the 16 digit card number is completely different you will be asked for more information in the form of a bank statement showing your original payment to TMFlemingspreads. The payment will then be processed and returned to you via a bank transfer. Withdrawals via chequeTMFlemingspreads generally do not refund clients by cheque. If a cheque is received for a deposit we will record the bank details and return the funds to that bank account electronically. Withdrawals by Bank TransferIf the initial deposit to your TMFlemingspreads Account was received via a bank transfer you will be required to send us proof of the original transfer. The details of your Bank Account will then be saved on your personal account for future use. Should we not receive proof of your initial deposit we will require a copy of your bank statement showing the original payment to TMFlemingspreads. We ask for this information as UK banks do not keep originating bank details for their customers to view. The following fees will generally apply:
Opening and Closing a trade You have two ways to trade with TMFlemingspreads
Contract expiry dates Each bet has a fixed expiration date and time. There are three main types of Financial Spread Bets. These are:
A daily bet is a bet that expires at the end of the trading day. A rolling bet is one that usually expires at the end of a trading day and is automatically rolled over to the next day at the same price with a small funding charge debited to your account. Rolling bets are automatically rolled over until the bet is closed by you. A future trade is one that expires (usually on a quarterly basis) at the end of a fixed period of time on a specific date in the future. Actual expiry dates for future contracts are specified in the market information section of this website. TMFlemingspreads will also endeavour to advise customers by e-mail of upcoming expiry dates. During the last few days of a Futures contract, you may decide that you would like to rollover your position into the next month or quarter. In this case, simply contact the TMFlemingspreads trading desk and we will give you a quote for the next quarter. You will now have a new bet without having to pay the dealing spread a second time. Placing a trade online Before placing a trade online with TMFlemingspreads, you need to complete three simple steps: open an account, deposit funds into your Trading Account and log on to the Trading Platform. On the left hand side of the platform you will find the Market Explorer which has an index that expands to list the available trading instruments. Click on your chosen market category to view the instruments that are available for trading. This shows several different categories that are available. We will choose Indices for this example. When you have selected your specific category, you select the specific product you wish to trade. For this example we will pick UK and then UK 100 Rolling Cash.
Then click on the Trade icon. This will bring up Trade ticket. Enter the amount of the trade you wish to execute and select buy or sell. Your trade will then be executed. Your trade has been placed and you will see a summary box 'Trade Successful'. To display information such as trading hours, spread, margin requirement, and expiry for that specific market. Click on the 'i' icon to the right of the share |
